The day is ending, and I haven't seen too much about MLK's birthday... Perhaps people are waiting or the observed day to highlight him. Isn't that weird though? Shouldn't we celebrate people on the actual day they were born and just relax on the day that is the observed holiday?
Idk but today I wanted to just say thank you to Dr. King for fighting for our rights. I wish we had more leaders like you, I wish I had the courage to be as fearless as you were, I wish I could have looked you in the eye and said, "THANK YOU!"
Thank you for walking for us, talking for us, being powerfully non-violent for us. Thank you for creating doors that we continue to walk through today. Thank you for making an impact on my life.
