Hand Raised, Pick Me!

Watching the documentary, "A Choice of Weapons: Inspired by Gordon Parks", and it has me thinking. Thinking about life and how we decide to be of service and contribute to society. Thinking about how people don't even think about that anymore.  It's all about money.

What you got (which is different than what you have), what you wearin', how you look...
Now, nobody about anything but capitalism. So much so, folks cappin' just to look like their successful. But at what though and why?

Where is the hunger to be a photographer like Gordon Parks? The hunger that uses a form of art to be of service and contribute to the impact of black people.  The drive to leave behind something tangible; that you created.  What is your why?

Where are the "why" chasers?

Here I am.
