Dressed 2 Kill

While I am not certain where everyone is located, it seems to be agreed worldwide that it is just too damn hot. Lately, I have no idea what to wear and this led me to my favorite space to gather ideas, Pinterest!

Before I start dropping photos of what I think is best to wear in this stifling heat, I want to be sure that we are all on the same page. The following looks are ones that "I" like. If you do not care for them then curate your looks and share them with me because I would love to see how you all are dressing during this heatwave.

With that being said, check the looks that I like to stay fresh while being fried by the sun...

First up is an easy breezy dress. Dresses, to me, are equivalent to wearing a long t-shirt but you are still dressed to do ANYTHING while looking presentable. A little hack that I use is, I like to wear long dresses and lightweight leggings underneath. This way I am catching the sweat that is created by my thighs but I also eliminate the fear of my panties showing should I need to do anything that requires me to lift my dress.

The second style I've been leaning on for comfort during this heatwave is a lightweight linen look. When the sun is making contact with your skin directly, it is enough to cook you while walking so, please don't overlook the importance of having your skin covered with a lightweight fabric that also breathes for optimal comfort on the most uncomfortable days.
